All the signs are there—you disappear for days at a time when you say you’re going to the mountain, and you come back kind of dreamy and distracted. Your man knows something is up, but you just avoid eye contact, grab your K2 Women’s Affair Snowboard Boot, and head out the door again. You’ve fallen for this boot’s heart-stopping good looks and foot-caressing comfort as well as its hot performance on the slopes, which you can enjoy for hours on end.

  • BoaConda system in the liner allows you to easily lock in the heel and adjust the fit with a twist of an external knob
  • Moldable Intuition Control foam liner allows you to customize your fit for super performance and all-day comfort
  • Harshmellow shock-absorbing technology in the outsole heel and forefoot helps make your landings softer and more controlled
  • Aegis antimicrobial treatment fights odors when things get hot and heavy under the liner

Bottom Line: Spice up your life with an Affair.

Sexy!

I am in love with these boots! I have ridden in them about 5 times now and couldn't be happier.

When I bought them I was stuck between the K2 Affair and the Burton Emerald. Thanks to Backcountry.com's great return policy (and a decent tax return) I was able to purchase both. My intent was to try them both and see which I liked better. My first day on the mountain I started out in my K2 Affair boots- fully intending to switch them out in 2 or 3 hours... That never happened. I immediately fell in love with the K2's and rode in them all day. What a difference a good boot makes!

Things I really like:
-My feet stay dry, warm, and comfortable
-True to size, I wear a 7.5-8 in regular shoes, the 8 in these boots fit great with room for a decent sock without crunching my toes
-Very Adjustable and quick to put on- lining support through the top of the boot Velcros in place to fit different shaped ankles and calves. I was skeptical about the Boa system, but am very happy with the uniform tightness- no pressure points. I like that the shell is still old fashion laces so I have more flexibility in how I'm tightening my boot.
-Responsive! The right amount of stiffness to really up my performance
-Dead SEXY! They look great! (I got them in black)

Issues I've encountered:
-The BoaConda wheel has caught on my pants a couple times and popped loose while riding. Easy to re-adjust, but a pain mid-run to lose support.
-Took about 3 full-day on the mountain to break in, they left some impressive ankle bruises the first couple time out. But being a much stiffer boot than my previous pair, it's not too surprising.

Sick boots!

I LOVED last years version of this boot except the boa broke the first week I had them doing a season in Europe. I had to ride 6 months with a broken boa so I'm just now returning them for another pair. They are super light, grippy, perfect flex/stiffness for solid boosts and drops and the boa holds your heel in great if it isn't broken. I'm just bummed this years are white and neon. Super ugly.

You can get the boa fixed at any dealer that carries boa boots. This usually costs about $10. They replace the cable and whatever is broken.
