Description

High on life.

We know what you mean when you say 'lifted.' That's not what K2 means. The Slayblade is built around K2's Precision Baseline profile with its 'Lifted' flat center section. it gives you the control and edge precision of a traditional cambered board, but without the hooky tip and tail that made cambered boards so sketchy. It's true, the Slayblade might make you feel lifted, but you're really just high on life.

The Slayblade starts with K2's Precision Baseline profile. This hybrid camber profile uses a flat, lifted center section and rounded tip and tail 'Tweekend' rockered areas. The result is tons of edge control without the bite of camber. The directional shape uses K2's Backside Hyper Progressive sidecut, with an infinite number of turn radii that progress from mellow at the tips to aggressive between the bindings. The result is a predictable feel with tons of control, but with mellow, non-hooking contact points at the tip and tail. It's K2's perfect blend of precision and forgiveness.

The Bambooyah Blend core is made with a blend of renewable woods and ultralight, ultra-strong bamboo reinforcements and Carbon Web II stringers. K2 also added a carbon, Kevlar, and glass pre-loaded Ollie Bar for unheard-of pop, and finished off the recipe with the ultra-fast 4000 sintered base.
