Really nice

I have the skins for the 2012 Obsethed (sorry sno2540470 I don't know where to get more) and assuming only the shape has changed to fit the new SideSeths, these are great skins. The pile seems durable and they climb really well. Haven't gone on any long tours with them so I can't comment on climb vs. glide. The attachment points make transitions a breeze for running laps, plus with the pre-cut dimensions they fit perfectly.

Bottom line, if you have SideSeths or any other ski that K2 has pre-cut skins for, buy them and forget about it!

    Easy

    • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

Doesn't get any easier to set up skins than this. Peel away factory plastic and off you go. Obviously this goes with a K2 SideSeth. Connection points from ski to ski are solid. Must have for those that tour. Durable.

They are not meant to be trimmed, but you could pull it off probably. First, you need to be using a K2 ski with the tip attachment, so you should probably just get the right skin for your ski. But if you find yourself in a pinch, you could always cut the back of the skin straight across at the desired length and then grab a Black Diamond STS kit and throw a tail attachment on. I'm sure this completely voids all warranties for the skins, the attachment and everything that comes within 10 feet of them, but I bet it would work.
