The Quiver Killer sounds like the name of a bad horror flick, but there's nothing scary about the K2 Shreditor 112 ski, unless you consider awesome and versatile pow-leaning performance frightening. The Shreditor is most at home in soft snow, but it thrives whether you're surfing pow, busting through crud, or putting first tracks in big lines, and it won't pee its pants with fear when you have to rail some groomers on the way back to base.
K2's All-Terrain rocker gives your tip and tail a lift over new snow, chopped crud, and wind buff, while the underfoot camber provides powerful edge grip in uneven snow and lets you make the most of cliff hits and booters. The aspen and fir core has the lively, energetic flex pattern you'd expect from a wood core, but with K2's triaxial fiberglass laminate, the ski has the torsional strength for stability at high speeds on hard snow. The Shreditor is laid up with a classic, strong sandwich construction, but the TwinTech sidewalls wrap up into the topsheet to reduce wear along the edge and prevent the topsheet from chipping so your sticks look mint all season long. The tapered tip and tail serves up smooth, hook-free turning in soft snow and lets you scrub speed quickly when that tree sneaks up on you, too, so you can rally all season without wrapping yourself around an evergreen.
