K2 made the Shane McConkey Tribute Ski in loving memory of the most influential skier of our generation. Responsible for rockered skis, ski-BASE and Saucer Boy, Shane has no doubt left his mark on our sport. Built off the K2 Pontoon, a ski McConkey himself designed and made famous, this commemorative powder board features a unique topsheet inspired by Shane’s unmistakable attitude, hilarious antics, and legendary abilities on snow and in the air. With a massive 160mm tip, surf-inspired pin tail shape and rockered profile, the McConkey Tribute Ski helps you slash turns, straight-line, and stomp landings like the one-and-only Pain McShlonkey. Only about 500 pair of this limited edition, individually numbered ski will be made available worldwide. K2 will donate all net proceeds from sales of the Shane McConkey Tribute ski to Shane’s family.

189cm ! The Pontoons feel super short in powder. An '89 Pontoon looks huge and can be awkward and heavy to carry around, they are very nimble to ski on.
