If you're tired of boring, generic helmets, look to K2's low-profile, skate-inspired Rant Helmet.. This brain bucket fits over your beanie and goggles for comfort and a unique look. An internal track keeps your goggle strap in place, and you can chose between different sized pads on the inside to get a snug, custom fit over your beanie. Basically, there's no chance your goggles will pop off, even if you start rag-dolling down the mountain. Always open vents keep you cool as you hit the pipe or tour in the backcountry. K2's removable ear liners are not only comfortable, but engineered to for maximum sound transmission, so you can actually hear what your buddies are saying on the lift. The K2 Rant fits lower than most helmets, and the visor drops over your goggles for wind and weather protection. *K2 ACS audio system compatible.

Good helmet. I like the fit with my beanie and goggles, its comfortable. My only complaint is when huckin down the hill it lifts off my head.
Thats a negatory, this helmet does not come with earpads. It is meant to be worn over the beanie and goggles.

The Rant Helmet broke after the first time wearing it and it wasn't even when my son was snowboarding. However, they were so great in exchanging it for something else. Very helpful! I will defintely do more business with this company.
IF you can fit a big beanie under this then it won't be doing you any good. for a helmet to work it needs to be snug.

Great helmet, looks good and has a nice, low profile fit. Interchangeable pads are great because I like to wear a beanie under it. Overall a solid, steez helmet thats great for park, or really any riding

Pros: Unique look when holding it in your hands, lightweight
Cons: Does not cover enough of your head, shell sits very high up (which looks dumb,) falls off easily
Conclusion: The K2 Rant is deceptively good looking. Out of the box it seems like it will be a stylish, newschool helmet, but it just doesn't perform. The high cut of the shell does not cover enough of your head, resulting in a loose fit that easily flies off of your head (even with the strap tight.) The shell also sits very high up and is awkward looking without a hat and goggles underneath. Do not let the attractive price tag fool you. You will be disappointed.
