The K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski's 'hood is the park, but it's a legit big-mountain gun as well. The Public Enemy's graphics are toned down a bit from the past, but K2 strengthened its build with ABS sidewalls and 2.5mm wide-edges. Go ahead and stomp on the most burred, damaged, ghetto rails you can find--this park rat can handle it. The PE's already taken some metal, with its .45-automatic shell casing tip and tail rivets, which make de-lamination a problem of the past. With 85mm underfoot, the Public Enemy features a solid landing pad so you can stomp it out all day long. *Available for US shipment only.
Bottom Line: The K2 Public Enemy Alpine Ski can hang.
Got three seasons on these and they have been all I can ask for, not much of a park rat myself but they kill it on the rest of the Mountain and have been very durable
Get the Public Enemy's. They rock. My friend has a pair and I borrowed them, and I'll probably steal them for sure. They are a great all mountain ski that can kill it in the park too. Stiff enough to carve hard and rip through crud, wide enough to float in pow.

and yea the top sheet does cut up easily since its p-tex but its only cosmetic it doesn't affect anything. plus if you ride the park you should know your skis are gonna tear up
these skis are great. they are stiff enough and have enough sidecut to ride all mountain but they are sweet in the park. they are kinda heavy but the person who complained about not being able to spin do to the weight probably cant spin to begin with
This ski is really a good do it all ski. I skied it in several conditions: hardpack, ice, powder, wind buff, and slush. It handled all of it with ease. It is extremely stable at high speeds. With that being said, I am selling my set because it is one of the most poorly constructed skis I have ever owned. The P-tex top looks good out of the wrapper, but after one or two hard days it is trashed. It is very soft, therefore it is easy to cut through it with the slightest bump from the ski edge. If you are a park rider, I would stay away from these skis because their durability is not as good as a park ski should be. They are easily fixed with a P-tex candle, but who wants to spend 20 minutes fixing their skis after every day on the slopes. Good thinking K2!
I'm 14 years old and I went skiing yesterday on the new publics and all I have to say is they are amazing! Theyre great in the park and all mountain stuff too! Im only 126 pounds but ollieing on these was pretty easy. Most people say this is a heavy ski but I disagree. Once again its a great ski but either find a lower price or wait for it to go on sale!
I just got back from a five day trip to Killington today. These skis were stunning. Most of the snow was terrible but they still impressed me. They were hitting jumps extremely smooth. These skis don't just get nice air too, they can really book. Its amazing how well they can carve actually. I'm a big dude, 6'5 215, I have them at 179, and I don't have to fight them like I do with most skis because of my size. If you like to book and get some nasty air get these skis. As a piece of personal advice, get the PX-12 Jib Bindings from Look for these skis. I got them, the JIB pads really do make a difference, a lot less stress on your legs when you land hard.
My public enemy's are awesome. the sidecut is perfect for me. they zipped along the groomers and cut up the pow with ease. My only complaints are that they are a little on the heavy side, making spins a bit more difficult, and the top layer gets cut up really quick. i've only skied on them two days and already have had to epoxy some exposed wood.
Took these out for a demo ride (6'0", 174lbs, rode the 169cm, Colorado) - I didn't take the guy seriously when he recommended I try them out, as I am not a huge park rider but prefer difficult runs and moguls. The twin tips allowed for tighter turns in moguls - as the back of the ski does not grab as in flat skis, they cut hard on all turns regardless of ice, groomed, or powder - they are VERY fast on groomed surface and they are fairly stiff, so they are still very rideable at high speeds straight down the mountain. I ended up taking these out for a second day. The only downside is they seemed to really bog down in any deep powder, but could be fixed by getting a larger ski.
These skis are sick Bro!!! They are perfect if you want to tear up the park but still want to ski with your dad and his buddies on the groomers. I highly recommend these to anyone thinking about buying.
I just bought the K2 PE and installed an adjustable Tyrolia binding. What an all-mountain ski. Skied power yesterday and floated nice turns all over the place, in the bumps, the trees, and on the carvers. It was effortless! This is my fun ski!
this is a super sick ski that is is top of the line quality, they do well on ice, slush, crud ,or pow, they do anything!!,they are light if you want to do any hiking too, this is a super cool ski , it is also very flexible if you like to jib the park or half pipe!!!
These skis are straight up amazing! I got them Dec 2006 in the 179. I am 6'2" and 195lbs. They haul truckloads of donkeys! They are great all around skis. They work well in the pow, backcountry, the park, and the pipe. I demoed these skis at Copper Mtn last season and had to get them. They land well after big air. Nice and stable. I have the Rossignol Axial II 14 bindings and on mine and they work great. The top sheet is soft material and will get scraped up, but for this price buy two pair!
Got three seasons on these and they have been all I can ask for, not much of a park rat myself but they kill it on the rest of the Mountain and have been more...
