Potion 74XTi Ski with Marker ERC 11.0 TC Binding - Women's

K2's Potion 74XTi Ski is pretty simple, really: it just wants you to lay it over and let go on the steepest, firmest pitches the mountain has to offer. It has a stiff Titanal laminate to keep it rigid and stiff at lip-flapping speeds, and is all about pushing your G-force limits on the most testing groomed runs from New Hampshire to the Rockies.

The foundation of the Potion is its Speed Rocker and Precision Piste Baseline 2.0 design, which combine to let it rip fresh corduroy and bomb icy steeps like something's chasing it. It has high camber underfoot for a powerful, aggressive feel and tons of edging power, with camber that extends all the way through the flat tail for rebound and power when you're finishing a turn and transferring into the next one. The sidecut extends all the way to ends of the ski as well, providing powerful turn finishing and full-length edge contact at high speeds and aggressive angles. The Speed Rocker raises the tip every so slightly off the snow to make turn initiation easier, too.

Somewhere in the bowels of K2's factory, the Potion picked up a Speed Rox MOD Suspension system to give it a firm and smooth ride no matter how fast you're going. K2 actually lays this independently flexing "secondary core" on top of the ski to absorb vibration and give it a damp ride without affecting the ski's natural flex, so you can rip without feeling like the ski's about to chatter you into the trees on the side of the trail. The Potion also features Hybritech construction, which uses strategic sidewalls for edge grip and stability and a cap construction for light weight and smooth, easy turn initiation. On top of all this, it comes complete with a Marker ERC 11.0 TC Binding, which extends towards the edge of the ski for easier control, power, and precision in your turns.
