Podium Snowboard - Wide

From hiking backcountry booters to bombing the groomers, the K2 Podium Wide gives riders with big feet uncompromising all-terrain performance. This K2 board's sidecut starts out mellow at the tips and gets more aggressive near your feet, which provides the stability to straight-line chutes in the backcountry and the responsiveness to handle quick, tight turns in the trees or in the park. Carbon torsion forks embedded in fiberglass deliver stability at super high speeds and powerful pop for ollieing onto rails or off cliffs. K2 blended the cap tip and tail into the sidewall for low swing weight, so you can finally get that last rotation on your 900 attempts. The Podium's Sintered 4000 base and one-degree base bevel offer superior glide, which lessens the chance you'll get stuck on the flats during a long traverse.

Bottom Line: The Podium Wide's larger platform and performance features give you no excuse for passing up that huge drop you've been drooling over.

The podium is a pretty solid board for all around riding, but it isnt the best park board if thats your style. There are some cheaper boards out there, but you definately get what you pay for. The Format is another good board by K2, but its not quite as big.

Rode this baby for the first time this weekend and i am impressed. It was fast and responsive, with very good edge hold on icy conditions. It floated super well in powder, and with it i got fresh after all other stashes had been skied out.
