Originally known for premier camera lenses, Carl Zeiss technology gives this goggle a lens of unparalleled performance. Whether the light is low or the glare gives polar bears headaches, you'll be seeing clearly from top to bottom—so long as the powder spray stays below your chin.
Whether you go with the octic mirror lens or the tripic mirror lens, certain features are the same. Both goggles use double-layer polycarbonate lenses treated with hard coating for scratch resistance tough enough to make your cat angry. Ri-Pel, K2's proprietary hydrophobic coating, helps the lenses repel water, finger grease, and grime. Three layers of fleece foam make this goggle feel sweet against your face, and the ventilation system keeps the air flowing if your head stays above the snow. Silicon-backed straps and custom strap brackets help the Photokinetic Pro stay firmly in place, both on your head and on the helmet.
The main difference between the lens options is the how much light gets through. If bluebird days call your name, the octic mirror lens balances bright sunlight and glare, or helps enhance visibility when the light is flatter than a piece of plywood.
