K2 went ahead and took the liberty of making your life way cooler by creating the Parkstar. K2 designers took the O.G. Darkstar and added K2’s specialized Jib Rocker camber, and turned it into a spinning butter machine. Take this board anywhere on the mountain to experience the bliss of the buttery, twin tip flavors but stay in the park or on the streets where you really belong to bask in its glory. K2 keeps it real with a snappy W2 Wood Core made from three different species of renewable wood. The Parkstar continues the Kumbaya with its super smooth 4000 sintered base covered in specially designed, Purl Biodegradable Wax.

  • We have no control over which color base you receive. It's up to Lady Luck—good thing she’s a benevolent wench.

Bottom Line: Keep your stance and Zen centered with the Parkstar for seasons of endless Gnarnia.

Talk shop with all the gear freaks out there: ask 'em questions, upload/browse photos, and give your 2¢.

According to K2 website the Parkstar has a softer flex than the Believer. Does it really feel softer? I've ridden the Believer and want to know how Parkstar feels.

K2 Parkstar Snowboard

I took this out last weekend and the jib rocker made the biggest difference for me (total of 4 days on a board) over other boards I've taken out. I was catching edges on cambered boards but this really forgave some noob mistakes and allowed me to go from teetering down the easy stuff to being relatively confident on steeper bump runs. Riding conditions were groomed and crud so I'm not sure how this will ride in powder. I'm pretty sold on K2 boards as they seem to be the perfect combo of value and tech - if they could just work on those top sheets I'd be even more stoked.

The waist width is pretty small on the regular version. You would probably be better off with the wide parkstar.
