Women may or may not have more brains than men, but they certainly have more hair. Put on the K2 Women’s Moxie PRO Helmet and feel what a real women’s-specific fit feels like. K2 designed the Moxie PRO with a cleverly placed Pony Port in the mold so your hair can hang comfortably without getting destroyed by ice and snow. Three points of adjustability in the K2Dialed adjustable fit system enable the Moxie PRO to hug your head regardless of its size and shape.

  • Active Matrix Ventilation is easily adjusted and gives you control of the temperature you want inside your helmet
  • Baseline Audio System is installed and includes small removable speakers in the ear pads so you can tune into your favorite music while you’re on the mountain
  • Removable, washable liner keeps you warm with fuzzy fleece so you’ll wear your helmet all the time

Bottom Line: The Moxie PRO protects your head and your hair.

Disappointed with the volume cord

By:
March 7, 2010

I really like this helmet overall. I do agree with the other reviews that you can not remove the liner as advertised. It would be nice as it shows makeup since the liner is white. I wore the helmet today with a ponytail and it felt a little tight but not too bad. My only complaint is that the headphone wire came out where the adjustable volume control is. I don't know if this is something that can be fixed or not. That is the only thing that really bums me about this helmet as it is only a month or two old.

Pony port is worthless

By:
January 28, 2010

If your going to buy this helmet because you want to wear your hair in a pony tail while skiing/boarding, don't waste your money on this one. The liner totally blocks the pony port, so it doesn't work unless you take out the liner (which might make for a chilly day). If you're not going to use the port then its a pretty good helmet and the liner is super soft.

I wear them over the helmet. There is a strap in the back of the helmet that secures the your goggle strap.

great helmet

I am really happy with this helmet. The liner is soft and doesn't grab my hair and it is easy to adjust the fit while wearing it. the earpieces/speakers are comfortable and have fair sound. It ould be nice if the liner was removable like advertised, but that is my only complaint.

Weak Sauce

By:

So I was very excited to get this helmet, the description made it sound like my dream come true. Let's just say that the description is a little off. The pony tail port is non-existent with the liner and fit dial in the way. The removable liner does not remove, it is sewn into the ear pieces! Washing your headphones is not really good idea i do not recommend it. Also the helmet itself is very bulky and not very styly. Don't waste your time or money on this one folks, you'll only be disappointed sorry.

Great Start

By:

Bought this because I fall alot when I snowboard but have since started wearing it skiing since it's very comfortable and it's nice having the music while still being able to have a conversation with whomever I'm sharing the chairlift with.

It's nice that there's a volume control on the cord, but it's hard to get to with thick gloves on. Would be nice if there were a fixed knob on the helmet that is easy to access with gloves.

Overall, great deal!
