The K2 Women’s GotBack Alpine Ski with 102mm waist provides an all-mountain set-up for those epic days when you’re the first one on the lift for a powder day, or the first one out for a sidecountry or backcountry jaunt.

  • Shovel rockered tip for phenomenal float and stability
  • Triaxial braided Bioflex core, made of fused fir and spruce, keeps the ski light and easy to maneuver in the steeps and tight trees
  • Progressive sidecut for improved turn initiation and hard-pack performance
  • Snophobic top sheet keeps snow from building up on top of your ski when you tour
  • Tip and Tail holes with removable plugs allow you to attach the K2 skins, build a rescue sled, or construct various ski anchors when you tour
  • Flat tail lets you plunge the ski tail easily into firm snow
  • Requires binding brake width of at least 100mm

Bottom Line: The GotBack is ready to play!

Fantastic ski

I bought these as an upgrade for my old Atomic backcountry skis. They are fantastic! They cut through crud, work fine on powder and are sturdy in the resort - even on ice.
Good for smaller skiers.

Amazing ski

I was looking for the one ski AT set up for the east coast. I was hesitant b/c of the width of these skis but they have so much side cut they ski like a dream. The rocker tip on this year's model makes them a must have. I have skied them in both alpine and AT set up and they are amazing. The were fun in the bumps, actually held and carved some big stable nice GS turns on hard pack groomers and crud. They did not disappoint on the eastern icy slopes either. We get it all in Vermont and this ski will go anywhere and do anything. I ski the 160 and am about 5'4 and have never considered owning a woman's specific ski. They don't ski like one that is for sure. The ski is QUICK, it holds in all conditions but in any kind of powder they rock. They make you look for any untracked lines and leave a smile on your face. They will make for a solid ride and were effortless to turn with just enough stiffness in the tail not to make a woman's ski too whimpy. This is one that will blow by your companions and leave you feeling confident and smiling. I found the rocker to make them especially quick in the tip to turn on a dime when needed.

For an AT setup, should I go with Dynafit or Fritschi bindings

For an AT setup, should I go with Dynafit or Fritschi bindings with these skis> I'm looking for a wider, powder set up to supplement my current AT setup. I'm skiing on the K2 Shuksans with a Dynafit binding and love them, but I need a wider powder board for some conditions. I've been told the Dynafit isn't beefy enough to handle wider boards an powder. Is this true?

redyamflan,
I am a ski guide and log at least 75 days a year in the BC. I have the Coombacks (same ski-mens) and Dynafits and they work fine. They must be mounted correctly. I ski some bumps and get air and I never have pre-released. I weigh 185lbs and have 20lbs in my pack when skiing. Go for the Dynafits!

Love the K2 GotBack's. Easy to Turn and Float through the powder. First day out my husband said he couldn't believe how well I was skiing. A friend went home and told his wife how much better I was skiing and she went and bought a pair of K2 GotBacks They are super FUN,
