Empress Ski - Women's

You went to cotillion and learned to dance the foxtrot and the waltz, but they didn't teach you how to dance atop the box or rails on skis. Step into the K2 Women's Empress Ski, and drop into the park for an education. This twintip ski won't prevent you from eating your fair share of snow, but it will make learning new tricks a lot more fun.

The jib rocker entirely lacks camber, so the Empress lays flat against the snow, or whatever surface you're dancing on right now. The elevated tip and tail let you go full circle, or just ski backwards for the heck of it. Triaxial braiding and the park flex pattern make a fun pairing. Interlocking fiberglass strands are woven around the core for torsional rigidity while maintaining the toe-tapping snap of the flex pattern. The flex pattern keeps the Empress soft at the ends to accommodate your initial reluctance to spin in circles, while remaining stiff enough to get popcorn-poppin' height off the half-pipe.

Cap construction keeps it light, and the directional sidecut favors forward movement without forgoing backwards maneuvering. The BioFlex 2 core offers a trick-flipping blend of stiffness and forgiveness so you can let your guard down in the park and ramp up the intensity when you're carving down to the lift. The Empress is a middling 85cm underfoot, so you can flip tricks without catching an edge and still ski dust on crust without issue.
