You see those funny holes at the tips and tails of your K2 CoomBack or GotBack skis? Those holes were made specifically so you could attach the CoomBack/GotBack Climbing Skins and have a completely dialed ski touring system. These skins were cut to match your skis, the shape was crafted to match the sidecut of your skis, and tip and tail attachments are lightning fast and secure—the right fit right out of the box, what a concept.

  • Pre-trimmed skins extinguish the hassle of measuring, cutting, and fitting your skins to your skis
  • Z Clip attaches to the ski tip hole and eliminates the skin fold-over required with typical D rings
  • Adjustable tail strap clip secures to the ski tail hole and rests on top of the ski to abolish the friction caused by clips dragging in the snow
  • Includes glue-saving mesh storage sheets, instructions, and a handy-dandy storage bag
  • Note: only fits K2 CoomBack or GotBack skis

I bought these skins to go with my k2 GotBack skis because they were on sale and pre-cut. I am new to backcountry skiing so when my partner told me to push and then glide on my skins I had no idea what he was talking about because these skins just would not glide. Even flats or slight downhills were a lot of hard work. I thought I just sucked at skinning! I decided to try black diamond skins as a point of comparison and wow what a difference! They glide beautifully and I now really enjoy backountry skiing. DON'T buy these crappy K2 skins unless you want a healthy dose of resistance training ;)
