Description

From powder to park, the Affair Access gives you supportive comfort.

The K2 Women’s Affair Access Snowboard Boot features a liner that you can adjust on the fly for just the right amount of comfort and support. Slide your foot into the moldable liner, and then adjust the Boa lacing harness by using the dial on your boot’s shell. The harness then tightens or loosens around the liner so you get the fit that holds your heel down, stabilizes your ankle, and doesn’t cut off your blood flow. The Affair Access’ outsoles feature Harshmellow, K2’s cushy substance that dampens vibrations and absorbs shock as you ride.

Not for me

I'm giving this 3 stars because I've read great reviews about them (which is the reason why I purchased the boots in the first place)but it just did not work out for me. It hurt my ankle badly and I thought if I wore them a few more times, it would "mold" into my feet but the pain came back after each usage. Maybe it's the shape of my feet but either way, it was not right for me.

Sweet boots

Awesome boots! Just the right amount of flex and I love the fact that these have the lace ups but the boa type thing on the side, its like a nice tight foot hug that makes the boot part of you and not sliding around on your foot. I lace my boots up once but if I go into the lodge to eat I just loosen the sides up and the whole boot loosens up without having to unlace and re-lace em

How do you mold these boots? How hot do the need to get and for how long?

Responded on

They way i have molded my boots in the past, which really has worked astoundingly, is to put your liners in your boots, and blast them with a hairdryer for 10-15 minutes, you really cant over-do it with a blow dryer, and the liners dont need that much heat at all. Take an old pair of socks and cut the toe pieces out , and slide the caps over your toes. slide your fattiest pair of socks on over these, and strap your feet in tight! Keep them on as long as you can, and they should fit awesomely. If they dont fit at first, give them a few days riding to break in and pack down some. If they still dont fit, give it another go.

T1 for us ladies

My boyfriend has been riding the K2 T1 for about three years and always talks about how great they are. Well they ARE, I got these boots and can't believe how much better than any other boot they are. I have been riding for about 8 years and have owned 5 or so boots, ranging from salomom to burton to 32 and these kill them all. TRY 'EM!!!
