Dirt-3 Chain Catcher

Say all you'd like about front derailleur adjustment, yeah ... we know. But no matter the perfection with which yours has been adjusted, sometimes crazy things happen, especially in really rough terrain. We've all been there -- rocks, roots, and desperate shifts all conspire towards chaotic chain movement -- and sometimes the unfortunate result is the chain dropping off the inboard side of the rings and onto the bottom bracket shell. The K-Edge DIRT - 3 Chain Catcher gives you the protection and confidence to make the shifts when you need to.

The Dirt - 3 Chain Catcher is CNC machined from a single piece of 6061 T6 aluminum, and it's designed to replace a 2.5mm spacer and fit between your bottom bracket shell and drive-side external bearing cup. It absolutely prevents the chain from derailing inward from the small ring, saving your finish and perhaps your frame from damage. It will work with 22t to 26t small chainrings. It's compatible with all Shimano MTB triple cranks and Race Face Next Carbon XC cranks, and it comes in three anodized colors -- Black, Gunmetal, and Red.
