Julbo created the Typhoon Sunglasses with a high-coverage, warp-around shape and polarized, photochromic lenses to provide excellent glare-free performance for water-based sports. The Cameleon lenses reduce light by 85% to keep you squint-free on bright days. Julbo includes an adjustable neck cord to help keep the Typhoon Sunglasses from going in the drink on a rafting, kayaking, or sailing trip.

Bottom Line: Hit the water with the eye protection of the Julbo Typhoon Sunglasses.

great lenses

By:

I have a pretty big head and these fit great on me, but fit is pretty individual in glasses. The lenses sit pretty close to the eyes so you don't get a lot of glare or wind in from the sides, which is great. Good polarization, nice lenses for sensitive eyes. In very hot humid conditions they still stuck firm to my face.

See where it says "Cameleon Lenses" 3 different times? That should help you settle this issue in your mind.

Great Glasses

By:
July 5, 2007

I just returned from 11 days in the Grand Canyon rafting and hiking. These glasses protected my sensitive eyes perfectly. The orange color also made a fashion statement, and made them easier to find. I have a thin face, and they gripped and fit me perfectly. The lenses did streak with water hitting them. One temple guard did fall off however. I wonder where or how to get replacement temple guards?

Too small

By:
January 7, 2008

Great shades, nice lenses but they seem to be made to fit a child or a woman with a small face... definately did not fit my husband's average sized face. Too bad, this was the 2nd pair of Julbo's I sent back because they were too small. Now I need another birthday gift...
