Description

Get an eagle ... or, rather, Falcon ... eye.

There won't be a single rock, root, or darting rodent in the trail that escapes your notice when you're wearing the Julbo Run Sunglasses with Falcon photochromic polarized lens. The Run's Falcon lens adjusts to changing light conditions (letting in 7 to 51 percent of visible light as needed) so that your vision is always optimal, and its polarization cuts glare off reflective surfaces. Great for spotting dangers on the trial, the Falcon lens also makes the Run exceptionally well-suited for driving.

  • Falcon lens includes anti-reflective coating that reduces eye strain and an oil-repellent coating that prevents finger or grease marks
  • Wrap-around coverage helps block out light
  • Nose pad helps absorb shock and keep the sunglasses in place
  • Sipe Grip Tech pads at the end of the temples hold without sticking to your hair

Julbo Run

I bought these sunglasses for all around use. I wear them for driving, hiking, in uniform, and whatever else in between. I used them extensively in Camp Pendleton recently while setting up and taking down a field hospital. They worked great for going in and out of sunlight. They work well while driving. I would have given them 5 stars but I find them to be a pain to clean and mediocre in bright sunlight. They are good for all around use but I wouldn't wear them for anything more than hiking. I would get something that fits more snug such as the Trail model if you're a trail runner or mtn biker. The size of the Run is right on. I have good peripheral coverage and the colors are not distorted too much. My hat size is about 7.5-7 5/8 if that helps for sizing. I would also get the 2-4 photochromic lenses if you are going to ski in bright sunlight or live in a really sunny area. The falcon III's work well for me but I live in WI.

Great glasses just big

I'm a huge fan of Julbo above any other make of sunglasses however I can't give these the best marks. First off the size is really big! I have a big noggin and these were even big on me. The lenses were pretty clear however because they were big on me light would come in from the top corners creating a blueish halo against the lenses. The quality is great, and the optics are crystal clear when there is no halo. I would recommend getting the Dirt model as they wrap around your head better and are a bit smaller keeping the similar style.
