I bought these sunglasses for all around use. I wear them for driving, hiking, in uniform, and whatever else in between. I used them extensively in Camp Pendleton recently while setting up and taking down a field hospital. They worked great for going in and out of sunlight. They work well while driving. I would have given them 5 stars but I find them to be a pain to clean and mediocre in bright sunlight. They are good for all around use but I wouldn't wear them for anything more than hiking. I would get something that fits more snug such as the Trail model if you're a trail runner or mtn biker. The size of the Run is right on. I have good peripheral coverage and the colors are not distorted too much. My hat size is about 7.5-7 5/8 if that helps for sizing. I would also get the 2-4 photochromic lenses if you are going to ski in bright sunlight or live in a really sunny area. The falcon III's work well for me but I live in WI.
Great glasses just big
I'm a huge fan of Julbo above any other make of sunglasses however I can't give these the best marks. First off the size is really big! I have a big noggin and these were even big on me. The lenses were pretty clear however because they were big on me light would come in from the top corners creating a blueish halo against the lenses. The quality is great, and the optics are crystal clear when there is no halo. I would recommend getting the Dirt model as they wrap around your head better and are a bit smaller keeping the similar style.
