Pull on the Julbo Race Sunglasses when you take to the water for a high speed adrenaline rush. Julbo gave the Race Sunglasses a photochromic, polarized Octopus lens that enhances clarity, blocks glare off the water, and changes to varying light conditions giving you optimal clarity on the water. The Race’s lightweight frame stays in place in high-speed, windy conditions thanks to grippy temples and nose inserts, and Julbo’s ventilation system eliminates fogging when you sweat.

Bottom Line: Shade your peeps on the high seas.

I'd compare these to what you could buy for under $30 in a drugstore. The photochromic lenses don't adjust noticably regardless of light conditions. The frames feel cheap. The connections for the strap are hard to work with and broke the first day of wear. I'm sticking with my Costas and my Smiths

The lenses didn't work well when snow skiing in flat light

By:

All in all an improvement over the Spy sunglasses these replaced for kayaking, alpine skiing & road cycling use. However during a recent ski trip I didn't notice the lenses changing in flat overcast light conditions. Ended up having to dawn my goggles to see terrain variations, but the grippy temples, nose insert & and anti-fogging eliminates worked well.
