Adjustable Tuning Iron - USA
The solution to your resort problem.
Tired of fighting for a good spot in the tram line just to get at leftovers from the day before? Leave the resort behind and get yourself a lifetime season pass to the backcountry with the Jones Women's Solution Splitboard. Built for stability at high speeds and control when it counts, this hard-charging board handles the gnarliest descents you can get to on your own two feet. When you've had it with lift lines and tracked-out runs, this is the solution to your problem.
New this year is the Bolt-Less Bridge. This technology thickens the core at the clips so Jones doesn't have to drill all the way through the board to anchor the clips. Not only does this provide a more powerful connection, it also increases torsional stiffness for a more stable ride on seriously steep slopes. As part of its mission to create a more sustainable product, Jones gave the Solution an Eco-Plastic topsheet. Made from Castor beans, this topsheet is lighter and more durable than the harmful plastic kinds, and it naturally sheds snow so you're pulling less weight when you're breaking trail. The Quick Tension tail uses pre-cut notches in the tail to eliminate the need for a traditional skin tail clip. Camber between the feet keeps the Solution planted at mach speed and gives the board a responsive, poppy feel, while slightly more rocker in the nose than the tail offers effortless float in the deepest pow. Triax glass keeps it stiff for stability at high speeds, and carbon stringers add torsional stiffness for increased pop and response.
Mellow Magne-Traction places bumps along the edge for insane edge hold on windblown, exposed lines, while the blunted nose keeps swing weight down for quicker turns. Magne-Traction is also featured on the inside edges for reliable edge hold on sketchy skintracks. Dual-density wood creates an ultralight and incredibly strong core, and Jones also added hardwood strips to the outside edges for increased durability. Another new addition this season is Karakoram Ultra clips. These clips provide greater tension between the board halves than ever before to make it feel like you're riding a solid board, and they're also easier to open and close than previous clips.

My Personal Split (The Men's Version)
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Yup, I'm a dude posting a review on a women's snowboard! But with the Women's Solution being based on the Men's Solution, I'm here to provide some info and offer a hand on answering any questions that might come up. Keep in mind the flex will be a little less stiff than the Men's to accommodate for the flex pattern that is better suited with the weight range of Women.

It's been awesome seeing the evolution of the Solution and watching it just get better and better. I rocked last years Solution and the big issue I had was the tip and tail being durable but Jones has beefed up those sections with metal reinforcements.
The other area that performs really well is the Bolt-Less bridge connectors. I like that the board has been beefed up in this area to decrease the flex that occurs at the joint.
I've rocked the Solution as a softboot set up and a hardboot set up and I'm happy to help build your set up.
