Description

It's all in the name.

Just as its name implies, the Jones Hovercraft Women's Snowboard sits at the forefront of pow-surfing performance, allowing you to effortlessly 'hovercraft' over the deepest powder on the planet. Its tapered directional shape, blunted nose, and Directional Rocker radically enhance the board's ability to plane through bottomless snow without submerging its nose. Smaller, female-specific dimensions help lighter riders dart through the tightest glades and chutes with maximum agility. Additionally, you'll find the board's 3D-beveled tail keeps you from hooking up on hard pack.

Much more versatile than its pow-specific shape would suggest, the Hovercraft excels at shredding firm snow when the pow's all tracked up, thanks to aggressive camber underfoot and Mellow Magne-Traction edges. Furthermore, the board's aluminum tip and tail protectors, Recycled ABS Sidewalls, and Recycled Stronger Edges make this board super-durable, allowing you to ride it through tight trees and rocky faces without worry.

  • Tapered directional shape (11-millimeters of taper)
  • Directional Rocker (camber underfoot, rockered nose, slightly rockered tail)
  • Classic core (full wood)
  • Biax fiberglass
  • Mellow Magne-Traction edges
  • Progressive sidecut
  • Alu Protect (aluminum tip protectors)
  • Sintered 7700 base

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Purchased this for my wife after riding the mens version of the Hovercraft all season. In my opinion this is the best all around board I have ever owned(not for the park though). It is a fun and a very appropriate choice for all snow conditions.
My wife was not excited about trying a new board, but after two runs her first comment was "this thing is really light". And by the end of the 1st day she thanked me for buying it for her.
My wife is not a real aggressive boarder - and she still likes this board that gives you an idea of the versatility.
