Jones Snowboards' Further Backpack is a well-rounded mid-size backcountry pack ideal for everything from quick dawn patrol sprints to full day tours. Jeremy Jones' prowess in the backcountry can't be denied, and with all that experience comes the knowledge of what works and what doesn't. This pack represents years of research and development, i.e. riding some of the most challenging terrain imaginable—resulting in pack that is skintrack competent and comfortable as hell for the ride down.

For comfort, Jones fitted the pack with an articulated foam back panel and ergonomic shoulder straps. The zippered main compartment holds all your avy safety gear, along with extra layers, snacks, and more, and the fleece-lined goggle pocket keeps your lenses clear from scratches when you're on the move. Avy tool-specific pockets offer easy access to your most essential gear, and the Further also sports dual ice axe sleeves and a new stowable helmet holder.

An insulated hydration pocket keeps your water supply from freezing in seriously frigid conditions, and dual hip pockets let you access energy gels and other small skintrack essentials without taking your pack off. For that final summit push, the pack allows you to carry your board in three different ways; the A-frame split-ski carry mode allows you to leave your splitboard apart, while two side straps allow you carry your board either horizontally or vertically.
