Its a spoon!

Yep! it is compact light weight and works well. For the price buy a couple you never know when someone forgets eating utensils!

Nice but...

I have this and the fork but now prefer the Backcountry.com Long Handled Spoon Item #BCC0132. The jetboil utensils are great, light, compact nice, fit in the cup or on the cozy nice but cleaning them kind of sucks. there are a lot of little grooves where they slide that are tough to clean. They also get a little soft when they heat up. I think there are better options out there like the BC long handle spoon

Finally, a telescoping spoon that works!

I've tried a few of this style of spoon, including GSI and MSR, this one has the ease of adjustablity and the length- which is always a problem with other telescoping spoons. It's strong, it's light and packs in any pot/pan/stove.
