so glad when this came out. the curved edge of this spatula fit the curve of the pot and pan perfect. I was using a squared edge and it was driving me crazy. Makes cleaning the cookware easier too cause you can scrape all of the edge perfectly. light and compacts small-fits into the jetboil neoprene cozy nicely

I purchased this item from backcounty and when it arrived, the sliding mechanism that allows you to push the spatula down the handle didnt work. The spatula would not lock in place and would either slide off the handle completely, or push back into the handle when i put pressure on it. IOW, it failed to lock in place

My other jetboil utensil's locking mechanism was just fine, so I decided to return this for another one in case I got a bad batch.

The new spatula arrived and the locking mechanism is solid.

Locks like a quality control issue. If you get one that works, it's great otherwise, but since I had to go through the hassle of returning it and waiting for a new one, it's 3 stars

This is a great backpacking spatula. It's super lightweight, and the handle slides over the spatula to make it shorter. It has a nice, thin edge for getting your pancakes or whatever else you're cooking. It also good enough for use car camping when weight and size aren't an issue.

This is great for entertaining while car camping. I use mine with the Jetboil Helios, It weighs nothing and stuffs in the pan without any interference to the lid. Go ahead and make an omelet or some dirtbag pizza!
