    Best coffee fix!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I'm an avid coffee drinker and absolutely love french pressed coffee. I love firing up my sumo and having coffee ready for everybody before they're even up. But this, you won't regret. I did buy a second one after my first stated to let grounds through after several years of heavy use, expected though.

    easy, fast coffee

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

great and convenient. stores right inside the jetboil for easy storage and carry. I am able to make and have my coffee ready before others get their small percolators set up and on the stove. By the tiime they are perking, I am almost on my second cup

I have not used it yet

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

I haven't gotten a chance yet to use this this product yet. but it looks simple enough to get the job done

    Great for your Press needs

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This fits into my Flash Just fine. At first it was a little challenging figuring out how to store it all with the limited space with the fuel canister. It turns out you just have to find just the right angle on where you insert the two stem pieces to fit it all in at the same time. The seal on the first time was great, but there are the occasional grounds that slip through. But who doesn't love a little cowboy coffee!?!

Overall, it is great product, and a cheap accessory for your coffee needs.

    Great for your Press needs

It works and is light weight. Some times I have coffee grounds that slip around the side, but If I push slower it helps this problem.

      Does it's thing

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have the original Jetboil model when it first came out and used this part to replace my old coffee press that kicked the bucket from wear and tear. It fits is perfectly so it's good to use with the old school Jetboil model and also the new model as well.

      Works, but not flawless

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Will definitely brew you a cup of coffee, but be gentle when pressing the grinds down, and don't use fine grounds, or they will slip around the edges of the press.

      quick and easy

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times

As long as you don't have the beans ground up too finely, this thing works perfectly.

      Makes coffee.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got this initially as a way to make coffee when there was none, but later found it to be my default on the road coffee maker. Yeah yeah you save $1.50 over gas station coffee, but do you put a price on your health when it comes to having to stomach gas station coffee?? I use it when traveling by Sprinter van and motorcycle. Its that good.

      Makes coffee.

      So easy

        The best JetBoil accessory.

Now you can make coffee; not much else to say

It will pack away inside the Flash no problem. I just unscrew the metal pieces and stick them between the stove part, then it all fits.

        • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I used it for the first time this weekend and it worked great! Easy to use, clean and store. I store it in the plastic cover that fits over the coils on the bottom of the jetboil.

        So Easy to use...

... You can make coffee while driving!

        Optimus Jet Boil

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This attachment makes your Jet Boil very similar to a Transformer. First you think it's just a car, but then all the sudden it's a robot (in disguise)! Same deal with your stove. One minute it is a regular, everyday run of the mill lightweight Jet Boil and when BAM, it's a coffee press! Huzzah! All Jet Boils should just come with this attachment - so easy to use and coffee is an absolute camping necessity. When you aren't feeling the java itch, it also makes a lovely couple cups of tea.

        Fun backcountry tool

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Nothing better than on a winter or summer adventure with good coffee. You got to get the press down correct so you don't have a plethora of coffee grounds, happened to myself first time out.

I do a slow press then pour the coffee into my Stanely mug (must have for bc coffee staying hot) clean out the jet boil of grounds with some water, pour coffee back the jetboil, press it one more time & pour it in the mug. You good good to go. Practice makes perfect.

Good coffee make the overnight trips in the backcountry better.

        • Familiarity: I've used it several times

As delicious as instant coffee is and as much as I love using filters and waiting forever to wake up. I finally got the coffee press and its not even funny how worth it this product is. You shouldn't be able o buy a jetboil without a coffee press. in my opinion.

        100% necessary and worthy addition

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

After a few trips into the backcountry trying to hold the paper filter with coffee grinds in it over a cup testing my morning patience and not doing the trick, I finally decided to make the investment and addition of the coffee press to my jet boil. So far it has been a worthy investment. Never again will I have to make coffee cowboy style with grinds in it or hold the paper filter while the coffee drips ever so slowly until I give up and have but a couple of sips of coffee before a big day?.so not into that.

Just pack it in your jet boil and you'll never forget it. Styling in the mornings?definitely recommend this product!

        a real eye-opener

        • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Hoorah! No more groggy mornings while backpacking! Only a little extra weight to throw in your pack (already bringing the jetboil) while backpacking to make some gourmet coffee. The only downside is that I know I will eventually lose one of the tiny parts of the press.

        Quite ImPRESSIVE

I love my Jetboil; the ability to boil water so quickly has transformed meal prep. Jetboil revolutionized the way that I enjoy the outdoors. It allows me to make quick meals for me and my traveling buddies with great consistency.

Great, quick meals are awesome, but I like to follow them up with good coffee. I also require quick caffeine ingestion in the morning. So, when I had a chance to pick up the Jetboil coffee press I jumped on it.

It was definitely a great choice. I used to settle for instant packets, tea, or infuser balls. But now a zip-loc full of my favorite ground beans and the Jetboil press is all that I need.

I recently used it to make some wild mint tea to calm an upset stomach on the North County Trail.

This press can also help around the house: last week the power went out and I still got my first cup in before work thanks to my Jetboil and this handy press.

I love how the press unscrews to fit easily in the Jetboil system.

When using the press make sure to kill the flame and the boil to end before dropping your grounds and attaching the press. Otherwise you will have a nasty boil-over.

This is a great investment: a must buy.

My Ti Sol unit says not to cook anything...

My Ti Sol unit says not to cook anything in the cup, soups ect. For boiling water only. Is it ok to make coffee in it and use the press ??

Will this coffee press attachment fit in...

Will this coffee press attachment fit in the Jetboil Sol/Sol Titanium along with the other four standard Jetboil items (i.e., the burner, pot support, fuel cannister, and fuel stabilizer)? Others have already noted that fitting this in the Jetboil Flash cup (1.0 liter capacity; 7.1" tall) with the other four items is doable, but a tight fit (i.e., the plastic lid is just barely sealable on the top of the cup), so I'm curious to know if the Jetboil Sol/Sol Titanium (0.8 liter capacity; 6.5" tall) presents an even greater challenge, if not an impossible one all together.

Scott.. this will fit just take the screen and put it in the cup that protects the flux ring and the rod break in two and you can fit in side the stove

I found it to fit a couple different ways. Play around see what works best for you.

Will the coffee press AND the pot support/stabilizer kit both fit inside the PCS canister together?
