Description

Quit slobbering on it!

You love your Jetboil, but you don't want other people's nasty mouths on your cup. The Jetboil Companion Cup is the solution: a spare, color-coded Jetboil cup. It says, "I love/respect/tolerate you, but not your germs." Even if you don't have anyone along with you, the companion cup can act as a secondary cooking vessel for multi-course single-diner meals. Jetboil's signature Flux Ring bottom and stove attachment grooves are here, along with the neoprene uber-cozy and sippy top that let you drink or eat directly from the cup without those awkward 3rd degree burns.

Probably my favorite piece of equipment. The fuel and cooking element all fit inside the cup so it's insanely easy to pack. The neoprene insulator let me pick this up even when it was boiling. It can be a little wobbly when it's full of water/food so make sure you set it up on a flat/stable surface or you'll end up jumping up in terror as boiling soup pours towards you like beef-flavored hot lava.

This stove is also fuel-efficient. I boiled water for nine different meals and still had a bit of fuel left. I didn't even have to touch the extra fuel canister I brought.

With two of these going and a few organic freeze-dried organic meals from Mary Jane's Farm, you could prep a four-course meal with no stress at all and virtually no clean up.

Its a funny little cocking pot. Boils fast and easy to carry in the backpack. Great for shorter hikes or whenever you plan on traveling light.

My husband and son took their jetboil with them camping, loved it, however; it has been almost a year since they used it. Got it out and they had left the fuel packed in the cup and there must have been alittle moisture and it left a ring of rust on the bottom of the canister. How should I remove that?

did a trip in the winter with just one cup and instantly realized a second one would make my life tons easier. Why? I now have two and use one for melting snow exclusively and the other to cook in. When snowshoeing I usually do not stop for a long time to clean the cup after eating real well. just enough to not be too gross later. When I would use it to melt snow for drinking it would always have the taste of the last meal. Now I don't worry about that and I melt snow while I am eating out of the other one which saves me a ton of time. plus you can pack more stuff in the empty cup. very light I don't even notice that I have an extra one

No, this will only work with the Personal Cooking System.

I tried to make it work myself but with not much success. Stick to the pot with the helios

Good for up to 2 people. this is what I take when I go backpacking when I have 2 people or less and I use the big pot for more people. I like how it actually hooks to the burner instead of just sits on it. it really helps out stability. I gave it four stars because I think the perfect shape would have been a little bit more shorter and wider. Would have liked a see-throughl lid.

Can you use the compainion cup with a regular single burner stove - will it still work? Love the idea, but dont have a jetboil system!

Not likely it will fit, although the 1.5 litere pot that Jetboil makes i have heard works ok.

Few hikers' items provide such near instant relief. This cup coupled with the Coffee Press are morale lifters for all groups. Whether a quick cup of soup or a steaming coffee are needed during a break from hiking, this item is all that it is advertized to be. Bottom line: this will be a 'must give' present to friends and family for years to come.

I purchased a second cup so that my wife could eat and we would not have to share cups. If you have a jetboil this is a great addition. Makes for light backpacking between me and my wife.

The extra cup is fantastic and works like it should; it's also a good place to store an extra fuel canister and a couple of treats. I've had the JetBoil for a long time and never hit the trail without it being along. Now I just need a companion for my companion cup.

Love this cup! It's well made and practical. I can use the bottom as a measuring cup,...extra bonus. Great for soup, hot or cold drinks.

Outstanding system. Bought this cup for my wife -- perfect size to cook up anything and change out is a snap. The Jetboil system is so versatile you have to wonder how you got along without it -- check out the accessories for this system and you will know what I mean.

I decided to get the Companion Cup for the same reason mentioned above. And it's true, it's perfect for making coffee in the first and oatmeal in the second. Or coffee/tea/etc for two people since you can use the same base/gas on either cup.

If you don’t already own a Jetboil—buy one, and if you do, you need this too. With the companion cup you can make coffee/tea/what-have-you in the original, and use the companion cup to boil water for oatmeal. Really, the possibilities are endless and you need this!!
