Pretty much the perfect backpack for my situation. It is not the biggest bag available but I can still get in several fat texts books, a few notebooks and a laptop. Before I had this bag I would end up with a backpack on my back and several books in my arms which was a pain. Now its just one bag with everything.
The straps, and the bag in general, are comfortable but I would recommend putting your largest book in the rear of the bag due to the large pouch positioning some smaller books low on the back. My one tiny complaint is the number of pockets. It has a very large front pocket, the main bag area, then one small pocket on top for random crap. 3 pockets is probably enough, I just wish I had maybe one more for more random crap because I am a messy disorganized guy. I guess a specific spot within the bag for a laptop would be nice but its absence doesn't bug me enough to care.

Good as a collage book/ laptop pack

This was a gift for my son, he is very pleased with this pack. He carries a massive amount of books and a laptop and this pack looks ideal as a collage pack pack for people who carry larger loads.
