I bought this backpack my sophomore year of high school and I am now a senior in college about to graduate in engineering. This thing has lasted me FOREVER. It is finally starting to wear out at the bottom as some small holes are showing but this is after I have literally stuffed this thing full on a regular basis with heavy books and my laptop. I also throw it on the ground without second thought and I have brought it with me on every trip I have ever gone on. This includes camping, international trips, any time I fly somewhere, just spending the night somewhere. Why do I bring it everywhere? It is big, it is well built, and you would NEVER think it is as old as it is. It looks less than 6 months old. I might buy another.
Awful!!!!

It's a terrible backpack cheaply made the first day I bought it it already started to tear at the seams! I will never buy a Jan sport backpack again! And very expensive for how cheaply made! Anyone who's thinking about buying this backpack I strongly don't suggest it! It was the worst backpack I've ever had!

I LOVE THIS BACKPACK! I am a junior in high school and carry my backpack around school with me all day. I carry a lot of books around with me, and this is like the one back pack that half the students carry because it takes a lot for it to rip! It is very durable and the straps aren't too bad, either. I highly recommend this backpack to anyone!
Great Backpack

I bought this backpack for my son because his old one was ripping. This one has a lot more room, allowing him to hold his schoolbooks as well as his lunch. He is very pleased with it.
I Love it!

how long does it take for an order to come in?

It really depends on the size of the package and the type of shipping you choose, but with this site, things typically come sooner than predicted(by method of shipping), though this cannot be guaranteed.
FANTABULOUS!!!!!!!!

The shoulder straps on this back pack initially feel very stiff. Will they soften up with use?
Matt Fuller

The straps won't soften, but they will loosen up somewhat with use. Despite this, they'll still be relatively firm and stiff. This is a huge pack to be carrying, especially without any waist harness or chest strap. You may want to look into some other products, including a Camelbak pack. The Alpine Explorer pack is a fantastic place to start in this size range:http://www.backcountry.com/store/CAM0230/CamelBak-Alpine-Explorer-Hydration-Pack-3L.html
