The Svalbard's made from Wolfskin's Airgrid polyester, a light but strong fabric that prevents down from leaking out but packs down easily when you're not wearing the jacket. Articulated elbows help you move smoothly, even through the jacket's thick puff, and internal cuffs and a drawcord hem seal in heat and keep drafts outside where they belong. The Svalbard comes complete with a stuff sack for easy packing, and has three pockets that provide convenient stash locations for phones, snacks, and whatever else you need when you're out and about.
