For support, the pack is fitted with a shape-retentive aluminum frame. Access to gear is made convenient through either the top access point, or through a zippered front panel. A base compartment is a great place to pack a sleeping bag, and it is fitted with an integrated rain cover for when you get caught out in a storm. Multiple gear loops along the front of the pack make attaching either trekking poles or an ice axe possible.
