If you'd rather pack light and see more than move slow and bloat, then the Jack Wolfskin Women's Highland Trail 35 Backpack is for you. Its versatile size makes it a great choice for long day hikes and quick overnight backpacking trips, while its assortment of features make it competent both above and below treeline.
The close-fitting ACS suspension system is generously padded and features a ventilation channel to keep cool air circulating between the pack and your back. For support, the pack is fitted with a shape-retentive aluminum frame. Access to gear is made convenient through either the top access point, or through a zippered front panel. A base compartment is a great place to pack a sleeping bag, and it is fitted with an integrated rain cover for when you get caught out in a storm. Multiple gear loops along the front of the pack make attaching either trekking poles or an ice axe possible.
