Bought this for my mom, she luvs it. Keeps her warm and works as a great mid-layer while skiing, or just throw it on to run to the office in your vehicle. Isis makes a great quality product, the 800 fill works amazing. Light is right.
Great vest!

I got a small in Grape and it has been fantastic. The grape color is dark and not overwhelming or bright and I've gotten lots of compliments on the patterning. Warm, slim and durable. I've had it a few months and a few feather are coming out the seems, but not bad at all (about as expected). I am very happy with this vest and am wearing it for the rest of winter!
Is the dusk color black? Or a dark gray?

Do you have the size XS-2 for this? Did you ever have that? I'm afraid upon shipment the size 4 would be too large for me, i want jus tthe right tight fit,i'm 5'2, 110 lbs.
Would you have the XS-2? i have a trip on Thursday thats why wanted to select Next Day Shipping, but want to know if XS-2 size is what's for me, instead of the 4 that's the SMALLEST you have here, please answer, thanx,

Hey Rachel,
Online shopping is tough and there is really no way to guarantee fit. Really I'm sure you could fit in both the 2 and 4, just depends how you like it to fit and what you'll be wearing underneath. Given your situation and the fact that we only have the size 4 anyway, I say try the 4 out. Worst case scenario is sending it back for a full refund.
Very Warm For Being So Thin

I love this vest. I am 5'6' and 170lbs and fit great in the size 8. However, i am larger busted and thin hipped. If you have larger hips than top then go a size up from what you think. This vest goes down to about upper pubic area...I wear this vest w/ just a lined active wear shirt while hiking in about 25 degree weather and am very comfy.

Its a good fitting vest, plenty of room to layer underneath. I got the silvery color, which is kind of odd in-person. But the warmth, and lightweight more than makes up for the less than perfect color. I wore this flyfishing for several days in a remote area of rural Alaska during the fall. Worth every penny.

Love it! Generous fit (size 6), great color (zinc), perfect weight (light but warm) and packs down. I expect to get a lot of use out of this vest.
Lovely vest!

I initially ordered a larger size, having read the review that it runs small. I had to return it and get my usuall size, which was perfect.
It's comfortable and warm.
Perfection!

I just received my vest in record time (as per usual with backcountry orders) and I'm in love! I ordered this baby in a size 10 in the zinc. I was a little worried when I ordered it considering some of the other reviewers concerns about sizing and that the color might be too pink/mauvey for me. However, there was no need for worry. I'm 5'9" and 155 lbs and have a really long torso, the fit on this is perfect, it's long enough that it hits right below my hips, and roomy enough for layering (keep in mind I'm not trying to fit anything bulky under it). I think a size 8 might have even worked if I'd wanted a more slim fit, but I would have sacrificed some length. The color is mostly a nice grey sheen with just maybe a hint of pink/mauve . . . I'm not into pink and I think it's beautiful. Haven't field tested this yet, but I think it's going to be perfect as a layer for back country skiing and for walking around during spring time in the rockies.

I ordered the Zinc color in size 4, do they make a size 2? Love the colour, more pink/silver than shown on website. Regardless, I love this vest and look forward to wearing it for years to come.
Color not like photo but great vest!

Ordered the zinc color expecting silver but when it arrived I found it more like a dusty mauve which was a pleasant surprise. Super soft and super warm. My first Isis product and I'm in love. Accurate sizing.
Sizing not accurate

The sizing for this garment is not true to ordinary measurements. I ordered a size 14 and it was still too tight for comfort. My usual size is a 12/14, so I thought that the 14 would be generous enough for layering. I was wrong. But this has been my experience with ISIS products. And I love the products! But I am extremely disappointed with the sizing of the whole line. I was also surprised by the color of the vest. The color "Baltic" looked like a bright turquoise in all of the promotions, but the color of the garment proved to be a very dark blue/green color. Not at all what I expected! Sorry.

This is a great down vest - since it seems like most other companies have abandoned all colors other than black, brown, etc. I wasn't sure what to expect from Isis and my wife wanted a vest for 75% casual wear and 25% technical use. This is heavier than offerings from TNF, Patagonia and Mountain Hardware, but otherwise it compares favorably in terms of technical features. The baffling looks really cool too. Only surprise was that the rhubarb color looks pink in the photo here but it is more red than pink in person (still looks great).
