Nothing beats the wide waistband and seamless construction of the Isis Women's Active Hipster for enduring comfort. And to make the contest even more one-sided, the exceptionally soft, stretchy fabric dries quickly and wicks away moisture for those sweaty workouts.

  • Nylon, polyester, and spandex feels smooth and soft, stretchy and supportive, for all-day, any day comfort
  • Smooth, wide comfort waistband won't bind or fold over for a secure, feel-good fit

Eeeehhh...they're ok.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

I got two pairs of these last year. At first they were a a little smaller than I thought they'd be, but it wasn't bad (I'm around 4-6 in pants depending on the brand and I got a small for a snugger fit.) They hit right at the top of my hip bones and stayed under medium rise pants. They did run up a bit at first. I wore them into Dehli at 100% humidity and 116 degrees, then into the Himalayas trekking. They did a good job of wicking, dried quickley, and took well to hand washing on the road. However, not even a month in they started to shred. By three months in they were basically rags. Fortunately, I got them before backcountry's return policy changed, but I was still frustrated by the underpants' fragility. I might recommend these to some one who's just going to where them day to day, but not as a serious expedition undergarment.
