The Inov 8 Men's Roclite 312 GTX Trail Running Shoes combine a highly efficient design with the waterproof breathable protection of Gore-Tex to take on long distance runs in wet conditions. Fascia-bands aid propulsion, so each step flows more naturally into the next one, and you run farther with less energy. Inov 8 used low-profile outsoles for increased stability on hardpack trails, tracks, and even concrete. Whether you need to gear up for a marathon in rainy weather or need a shoe for all-season training, count on the Roclite 312 GTX Trail Running Shoes.

Bottom Line: Get from point A to point B with the Inov 8 Roclite 312 GTX Trail Running Shoes when the road ahead is long and the weather is wet.

A great shoe: lightweight, responsive, great traction. Run a tiny bit small.

I love my Roclite 295s but had a recent wet/muddy overnight trail

I love my Roclite 295s but had a recent wet/muddy overnight trail experience that left my feet (and shoes) soggy and cold. I've determined this is the shoe I need... when will they be in stock?

these are the 2007 model and are permanently out of stock. And I was not able to find any 2008 or 2009 models on the site. Check back often to see if any more are showing up.

I typically run in an 11.5, neutral, medium width trail running

I typically run in an 11.5, neutral, medium width trail running shoe with a fair amount of cushioning. This shoe appears that it may be a good fit for me. Looking for something new, but want a gor-tex shoe. Looks like the 312 may run a bit small? So maybe a 12 might work?Thank you!-Greg

Greg, you will do well to size up to a 12. The Roclite has the newer Inov-8 outsole with the "fascia-band" and these run small for everyone I know. Inov-8 has it pegged for neutral/supinators. Most people find the cushioning less than the average overbuilt trailrunner. Which is great! I wore Montrails for years and couldn't be happier or healthier with the switch. With Montrail I think alpine with Inov-8 I think tele . . .

Very nice

Very light, good traction, Waterproof. Don't know if they are suitable everyday running (depends on terrain)as they are so light. Definetly use for racing and speedy runs. The flatter the surface the more I would tend to use day-to-day simply because there is not as much cushioning for real rocky surfaces.

Highly Recomend

Stuck these on my feet and pulled the tags off on the starting line of the Tahoe Rim 50 Mile race this year (July 19, 2008). No issues at all!! That's one way to break in a pair of trail runners.
