Perfect Snowboard racks for the money.

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

2013 Honda Pilot W/ factory roof rails. Not to hard to assembly. Once assembled it is easy on and easy off. Comes with everything you need as long as you have roof rails on your vehicle. Used it once on a 3 hour drive to Tahoe. No problems at all. This fits my 156 Wide snowboard. The rack sits tall enough on my pilot that when carrying 2 snowboards back to back together in one slot I didn't even have to angle it to clear my roof. The price is right. I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a rack for snowboarding or skiing and doesn't want to spend the money for a traditional rack.

Does the Inno rack lock to the rails of the vehicle? I'm concerned that someone may be able to steal the Inno racks off my vehicle.

The Inno Racks Dual Angle II Ski/Snowboard Rack does lock onto the base frame on your vehicle and they cannot be removed without first unlockng the rack with the included keys. This makes it so that no one can remove your gear or the rack itself.

Good rack, but the lock failed quickly

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I took the rack on a 6 hr car ride. 3 snow boards and it did great and it was easy to install. Only problem was that one of the locks failed fortunately in the unlocked position. Can I replace the lock only? Not sure yet on that. I need to follow up with the company. Otherwise it was a good rack and performed well on the car.

easily installed on a CRV

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Fits great on my CRV, I can fit two pairs of normal skis on each side, but can't fit two pairs of fatty skis...installed in about 10 minutes, no problems, lock works well, no problems with it icing over or anything else.

Do I need cross bars or will it simply attach to the side factory roof rails on a Nissan Murano?

Responded on

No cross bars needed. 2 Bars are included with the rack. Once assembled to the bars that come in the kit, the racks attach to the roof rails.

Affordable, easy install, works

I put this on an '05 Lexus GX470 with factory rails. Install is easy, but would've have been cake if they put a short video on their site. Only need an allen wrench to tighten the bars in the middle after setting them to the proper width of your vehicle. Once setup to the width of your vehicle, the rest is tool-less and super easy. Storage and re-setup will be cake.

My wide 169 board barely fits width-wise, but that's perfect. I put it bindings facing down to minimize vehicle height. I just barely fit into my little garage now. Don't need to angle it for the bindings to fit facing down. Overall really happy. Other brands like Yakima are a PAIN to setup and take down from what I've seen.

You could easily fit 4 large snowboards on this thing. Definitely install the little rubber things in the groove of the center bars otherwise you'll hear loud wind noises on the highway. Again though an easy 1x thing.

Is this an all inclusive rack or do I need to purchase other items (bars and clips, etc) to mount this on . . . I'm looking to buy this for my son's Honda Accord Coupe 2008 as a gift and I want to make sure I purchase everything he will need so he can mount it on his car and be on his way. . .

Responded on

as long as the car has roof rails, this will work without additional hardwares.
