I used these for my thru-hike of the AT as liners and they really help prevent blisters and anything from rubbing the wrong way. Get used to the fabric between the toes and they cant go wrong. Bonus they don't twist/turn/move during those 25 mile days! Great for people with sweaty feet!
I have a 9.5 4E wide feet, which size should I order? I walk a lot for my work and been looking for socks similar to this kind to prevent blisters etc. any help would be appreciated. I
Actually, for those of use with serious foot width, going up helps. My foot size is 10-10.5 4E and I have to wear large. Medium won't fit. BTW - anyone with wide feet will love these socks. They're all I wear!

Really depends on you, your feet and the size you're wearing. Because of the way these shoes fit, and the difference in people's anatomy, the only way to really tell is to try them out. I can tell you that I just got a pair yesterday to wear with my KSO Treks, and they are snug, but feel good. They definitely feel different, but will still work for me; your mileage may vary. I will tell you that you'll probably love the socks whether they work with your shoes or not. I do. :^)
These are the only socks I will wear - for any occasion. Hiking, playing racquetball, to the office, and just around the house. I hiked the East Rim in Zions with a pair of these. Normally my feet would be killing me at the end; they were in great shape with these wonderful socks. Occasionally I get some funny looks at the gym, but they are completely worth it. My feet are cooler and more comfortable than in any other sock - I dread wearing anything else.
This the first time I have bought the individual toe style sock and I will never go back. For one thing no more athlete's foot problems as separating each toe prevents continual auto-infection, gross I know but for those of you who suffer likewise understand how important that is. I use it as my liner on cold trips with a heavy pack and by itself on warmer day-hikes when shoe rub is not a real issue. I chronically develop hot-spots and blisters due to my fast pace on the trail but have yet to have either with these puppies hugging my feet, will buy more pairs soon.
I was reluctant to try these out, but after wearing them off/on for a week, I'm impressed. At first, they do feel kinda odd, especially since most people aren't used to having fabric between their toes. Once the toes form to your toes, they are much easier to get on/off and lose that funny feeling. Very warm too. Definitely worth giving a try.
I bought these socks for our son who is in Iraq. He loves them and even called home right away to thank us. I don't know how they'll hold up or wear, but for now these are the only socks he'll be wearing.
I've been using mine in Iraq and a pair typically lasts me about a year before they need to be replaced (shows signs of wear and tear) On average each pair get used once a week for 8 hours.
The individual toe sleeves feel a bit strange at first, but after a few times you won't even notice. These socks keep your feet cool, dry, and comfortable. I've had no chafing or problems when wearing these on 17-mile runs on sidewalks - and 8 mile trail runs. I have a few bits of advice about purchasing these socks: If you're going to be trail running in these, avoid the white - the white stays white only until you put them on for the first time. Secondly, if you're going to be running in warm or hot weather, buy the mini crew length, you'll stay much cooler.
Sherry, you may want to consider the Injinji Outdoors series for winter use. They are made of wool and much warmer than the performance series socks. They don't seem to last as long though.
I was a big fan of Balega socks, but after a couple of toe blisters during long runs thought these would be worth a try. They are wonderful. I have used them for runs up to 16 miles with no blisters at all. I have long toes and slightly narrow feet. The socks fit me fine. These are no fashion statement, but for running, I won't wear anything else.
I have to admit I was a little hesitant to try this sock. It reminded my entirely to much of a sock I saw my sister own in the 80's. However, after having ran many miles in mine. I'm happy to report that these are great socks. They eliminate all the friction and pressure that your toes and toenails can cause.
Damn I love these socks, they have saved my hockey skates...a lot of guys like to play with no sock to get that naked foot feel in there but it destroys your skates...these socks allow me to get that naked foot feel while still absorbing some sweat & I like the arch support band also.
These rule for hiking (ESPECIALLY IF YOU BLISTER EASILY)...I highly recommend them & wear them all the time.
When the ladies see me in them they can't resist the Biggity Bleakster!!! Ok, that's not true but the rest is...pinky swear.
