Description

Your feet deserve protection too.

There's not much point to kayaking down a river if you can't even step back onto the beach afterward. Keep your feet from turning to ice blocks when you wear the Immersion Research Neoprene Booties. 3mm insulating neoprene complements a rough-and-tough rubber sole that won't fall apart if the victory beach you're navigating is covered in beer bottles.

decent if you have room for the thick soles

I've had these for a few months and have had them out a dozen or so times. I like to use them in my creek boat because the thick cover makes a solid contact with the boat's foot braces. On the other hand, they are way to bulky for most people in playboats.
The durability is ok. Some of the rubber sole is starting to peel away on one of my booties; I might have to return it in the long run.

Great Kayak Booties

I bought these in XL size and fit nicely, I typically wear 12.5 to 13 men's shoes. I love that they don't requre a strap across the arch and the zipper works well. The rubber soles are very slim and are conducive to use in a kayak. The sole wraps up over the heel, perfect for how your heels rest on the bottom of a boat. I also bought a pair of neoprene socks to wear underneath for extra-cold weather.
