I bought this anticipating a snug, athletic fit like their bodyfit series, but that was not the case so I returned the shirt.
Anyone know if this is a body fit tee? or is it regular fit?

This does not fit like a regular t-shirt. This Icebreaker will fit like an athletic cut or workout shirt.
Pay attention to the size chart in regards to the chest. In most tops, 46 inch is an XL, but in this shirt it is an XXL.
If you are looking for more of a normal fit t-shirt, take a look at the Hopper. That still has an athletic cut, but it is a bit more relaxed. The Backcountry merino t-shirt is nice, too, but I think that is more of a 120 weight.
