I bought this skirt to wear to work. It looks professional in an office setting and is still comfortable enough to wear all day. I think it would look great worn anywhere with Birkenstocks or other casual sandal. I am 5'6", 130 lbs and the medium fit great. I like the roll down waist so I can adjust the length and fit. I usually wear earth tones, but decided to purchase the eggplant for fun. I love the color (which looks like a dark, soft purple) and the lightweight feel of the fabric. This is my new favorite skirt, and I am a jeans girl at heart.

I've had this skirt for a couple years now.
It's incredibly soft and easy to launder.
I must say that I spilled hot popcorn butter alll over it on day 1 (I'm utterly clumsy) and was pleased to discover that there were no issues getting this stain removed.

The material is warm, but can still be worn with no issues in the summer, that's the miracle of merino wool! There's a small pocket for stashing a key or other small valuables. I love the fit, it's very flattering and won't go out of style anytime soon.

I love this skirt so much I bought another. It's classy, warm, and comfortable, and it only gets softer with age. I'm a merino convert, and these are my first Icebreaker items. I will say that the fabric seems thin at first, but as you wash and wear this skirt, it seems bulkier. But just to be clear there's no pilling. The black is extremely versatile and the purple is fun. Wear with sweater leggings or fleece leggings or tights and knee socks. Also with short boots, tall boots, or snow boots. Perfect length for me (right above knee) and I'm 5'10". Love.

I really enjoy wearing this skirt. It is a tad long on me - even with the waist folded over but it is so comfortable that I don't mind the length. I have this skirt in black, grey, blue, and purple. The weight works well for wearing all year long. I am 5'4" 120 lb and the xs fits well.

I tried this skirt on at my local Icebreaker retailer and I have to say I wasn't super impressed. The quality is top notch, like all icebreaker items. I tried on both the black and the titanic, great versatile colors. My biggest problem with it was the design. I am only 5'2" and 100lbs and I felt like am xs in this skirt overwhelmed my body and made me look even shorter, if thats possible. I have the Icebreaker Zen skirt, which I love because it hits me right below the knee. This skirt, however, hit me right at the middle of my shin, so it is significantly longer. It also is more flowy than fitted, which made it look even more oversized. Could be great on someone who is medium to tall in height though!

You should try the Breeze skirt by Icebreaker.

I love merino clothing, and since I bought the first performance pieces, a lot of my everyday wear changed as well. This one will do well all summer, both travels, bbq's and everyday wear.
Haven't bought it yet though, since I prefer skirts 2 inch longer than this one (but i'm 5,10). This one hit bottom of my knee, and i prefer skits to hit at the wides point of shin.
Tried on both L and XL, the L fits! L is my normal size in bottoms, but I sometimes use XL to get a lower waist fit - and that way a better length, but this piece in XL slides of almost instantly, so don't size up!
