Tried it, but it was too delicate. Returned it for the patagonia version. It was a great decision.
Fits well

Super comfortable with a good fit. Kept me warm on a chilly night but didn't kill me when it got hotter.
Pretty Sweet

I purchased this shirt and have worn it almost everyday for a month for work. I generally wear a Work Tshirt over the top of it and throw on my North Face Bionic Apex jacket. The Apex blocks wind but is not warm at all. When i do this i feel warm in Temperatures down to about 20 degrees with minimal wind. Felt a little scratchy on my skin the first week but now i dont notice that at all. I think it's a good buy and will keep you comfortable in temperatures from 25ish ( with a wind breaker and tucked in ) to around 80 degrees. I will be buying a few more colors for my adventures in the near future.
Love the product

I now own several pieces of icebreaker. All are wearing well and looking good. Would like to point out as other have. Body Fit means Body Fit! Love the sizing but keep in mind if you want it a little looser fitting go a size up in the Body Fit line.
Great product

I'm 5'10, 175 pounds and usually wear a medium. I got this in large because I wanted it to fit a little loose and found it fit me perfect. It was not very tight and just the right amount of looseness so I didn't feel resticted in movement. I took it to utah and it worked amazingly. The merino wool wicks away sweat and didn't make me feel cold. I didn't wash it for 4 days and it didn't smell at all. I definately recommend this.

Ordered an XL in the earthen color.
Me 5'11" 230lbs. This baselayer is just about the right size for me. A little lower cut in the back rear than I would like, but perfect for when when I tuck in my baselayer bottoms. I can wear this for at least 3 days without washing and have it not stink bad at all. The merino wool really is everything its cracked up to be. My Patagonia capailene baselayers are great but I have to wash after 1 use because of the "funk" smell. If you haven't tried icebreaker I feel its worth the extra money to have the good stuff
It's good

If you're not super fit with rock-hard abs, this might not be the shirt for you. I'm 5'10" and 154# and normally wear a M-L shirt size. Though I don't really exercise much, you can see I'm definitely not overweight. Yet, if I only wear this shirt (I got the M), I look like a side of bacon. The shirt clings to every square inch of you which is great as an insulator, but may also turn heads -- and not in a good way. Sleeve length though is perfect! All that said, I wear it exclusively as a base layer and LOVE it! I've only had it a few months now - it's only just come from it's third washing, but so far I'm pretty happy with it. It was generally soft out of the package and, as some have said, it does indeed get a little softer with each wash. The 200 has a fantastic insulative ability and is perfect for fall/winter everyday wear. I never get too hot or too cold. Finally, the rumors about odor control seem to also be true. To protect it from multiple washings, I've strangely worn it as many as four times between washes -- something I'd never even consider with a smelly cotton shirt. I suppose if I had to, I'm sure I could wear it even more and get away with it, but the thought of wearing the same shirt that much makes me a little queazy regardless of how good it smells.
warm, comfy, and impossibly stink-proof!

I'm 6' and 185lbs. I bought a large. It fits snug, but not tight. Just right for a base layer.
Seams don't bother, even under multiple additional layers and a backpack.

Merino Wool...LOVE IT!

I've done a lot of research with regards to merino wool and all of the benefits. The only thing that made me hesitant in buying right away were the prices of merino wool products. I am sure most people have this same hesitance.
I finally decided to take the plunge and buy the Icebreaker BodyFit 200 Oasis Crew, and I cannot be happier! Everything that I have read about merino wool was true. Excellent wicking properties, no order after heavy use and smooth and not itchy on the skin! I got this in late Spring and with the warmer than normal weather the Chicago area was getting this year my rides usually started at about 62 F degrees and would end at about 75-80 F degrees. I can honestly say that even at temps around 75-80 F degrees I was still quite comfortable and I was wearing the long sleeves.
In terms of fit I prefer a tighter fit for my base layers. I am 6'1" and way about 210 lbs. My body type would be consider "athletic". My chest measurement is about 42-43 with broad shoulders. I order the Large and the fit is just as I wanted. Tight fit...skin tight to be more exact but not restricting by any means. The fabric is very breathable and giving.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a merino wool base layer for a fair price. Plus Icebreaker is a great company who is responsible corporate citizen.

keep in mind that these size very small. I am 5 11, 160, 32 waist and the Medium was much too small for me.
Excellent product, fits SMALL.

Love Icebreaker Merino - I have 3 other shirts that I wear to the point my wife refers to them as "my uniform". This one I had to send back though, as the Medium (same size as my other 3) was simply WAY too tight....I realize now though that this was the point - it's supposed to be a tight-fitting base layer. Not what I expected or wanted, but not a product flaw. Other than this, you simply can't go wrong with Icebreaker Merino - if you're contemplating it, do it....you won't be sorry.

Great fit and feel. Bought for my husband, he is 5.10 and I got him a large. He liked it so much that he got a second one in another color.

Comfortable, snug fit

I just received these in the mail, top and bottom, and wanted to try them on and give a review.
I am about 6' or 182cm and 170lbs or 77kgs. I have a 33 inch waist, 41 inch chest, athletic build.
The fabric and seam quality look and feel great. It looks like it should hold up for a while and not break down so easily.
The fit is "FITTED" This thing is snug! I ordered LARGE and wear a medium in every other base layer. It would be wise to order one size up than what you usually wear or I imagine it would be very tight and probably unwearable.
The top fits comfortably. It is snug all around and I can tuck it into the bottoms if wanted. So length is sufficient too. The cuffs reach just past my wrist and rest there no matter what movement. Two down points are the seams in the arm pits which I can notice right now. They wrap down from the shoulder and arm and meet in the middle of the armpit then continue down the side. I don't know how to describe it. Maybe a small bunching or tightness in my armpit just off the side of my pec. The other issue is that my forearms feel pretty tight up my elbow. Other than that these garments seem like they would work fine for any activity. Maybe just some slight discomfort that you could probably ignore when you're moving and having fun.
So in conclusion:
ORDER ONE SIZE UP
and don't forget your insulation layer!
feels like a hug from your best friend

I love icebreaker and for a botom layer his one can't be beat! I wear this shirt day and night and everything in between! ( dont worry I have another one to rotate in).
Sizing does seem to run small on this particular item as I ordered an xl to make sure -as they can shrink a tad over the years -and it fits me pretty snugly -more like what I feel a large would do. I'm 5'8" 175 and pretty sturdy /in shape but wouldnt usually buy xl for a base layer.

love this shirt, fits me like a glove and keeps me warm in below 40 degree days. I use it as my base layer when Im outdoors and usually a vest over it will keep me warm enough. Also makes my guns look real nice;)
Can't take it off

This shirt is smooth like butter. It just feels so good. The fit is nice and a bit slim, like most Icebreaker pieces. It's okay that I can't take this piece off because merino does such a good job of keeping the funk away. I definitely recommend this piece.
