The Icebreakers Oasis Crew is a great all-around lightweight base layer made from the ultimate breathable insulation: Merino wool. Merino isn't your average wool, which means the Oasis Crew isn't your average base layer. The Oasis will give you the best breathability you've ever felt and will resist getting stinky for days, thanks to the unique properties of Merino. The Oasis is soft and unfailingly warm against your skin; so effective at maintaining your temperature you'll think you're a mountain sheep of some sort. The Oasis lets you move freely and is cut long so it won't ride up and expose your skin to the cold air.
Bottom Line: An island of warmth in a cold desert.

If you run outside this shirt is a MUST! One person in our running group bought one and wore it on a very chilly day. They ran warm, dry and very happy! Now our entire group wears Icebreakers. We love 'em! Did I mention that we live in Chicago? It can be dang chilly at 5:30am! But not any more...

I love all my icebreaker clothing - it lasts for years and is incredibly comfortable. Wear it on all my ski trips and winter sailing; couldn't do without it.

The Icebreaker Skin Oasis crew is great. I wore mine for the first time today as NYC is experiencing a deep freeze and it kept me nice and toasty. The shirt totally lives up to the quality and expectations I expect from Icebreaker.

I bought this top for the very simple reason, that not only I dislike the winter months but what comes with it (i.e. bulky clothes...). This top not only provides appropriate warmth without constriction, it does not get smelly, even if you wear it all day long. It is handsome enough to parade in if you live where the temperatures are below 20. I would get the thicker version. The size runs on the small side. Usually I wear a XS but with these, the small fits perfect.

This crew is perfect. I use it all the time. It's comfortable, versatile, and good looking. Great properties of wool, without being itchy.
