Icebreaker Nature Ultralite Sweetheart Top - Short-Sleeve - Women's - 2009 BCS

I've been wanting to try wool for hiking for a while, even though I normally don't like it because I find it quite itchy. When I first put this on, I was looking for the itch, and it I thought it did a little. But, as soon as I started hiking, I forgot all about it and it was super comfortable. After three days in the backcountry, it didn't smell bad. Converted!

First learned of this company and product while on vacation in New Zealand several years ago. The PERFECT shirts for travel, cool in warm weather, warm in cold temperatures, quick drying, no ordor retention, light weight, no wrinkles, and NO ITCHY wool feel. With 2 long sleeve and 3 short sleeve Icebreakers, packing light for two plus weeks abroad or anywhere is a snap.

I love this t shirt. It is light, yet not see through (well, I'm talking about the one in black...the light blue is see through and needs a cami underneath therefore defeating the purpose so i returned it). I bought the lavender one as well (I would say minimally to non transparent-and totally cute color). They have the usual icebreaker slim fit, and are a good torso length (one of my icebreaker tops is shorter in torso length and so slips up but not this one). Anyway, love the detail on these shirts. Flattering, light, cute and comfortable! Highly recommend. Actually wish this one came in even more colors....

I really liked this shirt out of the box. Typical icebreaker quality- very soft and luxurious. The teak was a great color too. However, the elastic banding around the sleeves made the openings very small! Normally icebreaker larges fit great - a little loose if anything- but the sleeves were off for me on this.

I think I'm now considered a collector of Icebreaker...this top in another great one...I layer this in the winter and in warmer weather I wear it as a top to work out over my sports bra and I also wear this with jeans since it is so cute! The fit is slim...normally in clothing I wear a 0-2 or XS but I take a S in most Icebreaker tops. I tried both the XS and S and the small definitely was better. Teak is such a great color...I have the cami in this color as well and it looks great under cardigans. If you already own the Sweetheart long sleeve the fit is the same so order the same size in the short sleeve. P.S. If you want a great merino full zip jacket...check out the Icebreaker Rapid full zip it's great too as a jacket or a layering piece! You can't beat Backcountry.com for service either.

This is another great addition to any wardrobe, especially for those of us whose wardrobes seem to be mostly Icebreaker! I wear mine alone on warmer days and layered under icebreaker long sleeve shirts or hoodies when its cooler. It is a simple top, but yet stylish enough to dress up with a scarf or cardigan. I own it in teak, a previous season color that is a dark burgundy. I just received it in the island bud color and it is a gorgeous bright blue! I usually wear either an xs or s in icebreaker tops and definitely preferred the s in this style. Love it!

This is a beautiful shirt - the color Island Bud is so pretty. BUT as with other Icebreaker shirts I've ordered and returned I can't find a good fit. The medium in this fit okay except for around the arms - that was snug - there's sort of an elastic bit rather than just a hem. I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs with a slim build but I guess my arms are kinda bigger than "normal." Anyway, for an avg sized person with thin arms this would be awesome.

I have a 2 year old Icebreaker 260 zip top. I wear it twice a week, hiking and biking. It's the bomb. I bought two of this Ultralite, and already have worn each twice a week, for rain hiking/shopping. No odor, wash well, snug fit. I have beefy arms, and this v neck is snug on the arm, but not uncomfortable. I woul d have a dozen of these !

I bought this to go with the thongs that I love so much. I love it but would get so much more use out of it if it were a cami. Perfect for sleeping in or wearing with jeans. I hope Icebreaker starts making thongs and camis to match!
