Stylin' Siren.

The Icebreaker Nature Siren Hipkini won't hoard sweaty odors like synthetic performance undies do, and that means you can go straight from the trail-head to dinner.

  • Merino wool naturally regulates your body temperature so you stay cool in the heat and warm when the sun goes down
  • Merino also naturally deals with odor so there's less stink and less laundry
  • A touch of Lycra for a smooth, comfy fit
  • Boy-leg cut for plenty of hip coverage and full cheek coverage
  • Low rise goes with your favorite hiking pants and dinner-out skirts

Please bring back the Siren bikini :(

I own (and love) my siren bikinis so much, but when I found out they were discontinued I ordered these instead. The fabric feels great, but the fit is horrible for my figure. The siren hipini has elastic at the waist and leg which isn't uncomfortably snug, but does create unsightly lines under fitted clothing. They also feel baggy in the backside and the leg elastic chafes after a long day of moderate activity. These are a sad backslide from the fabulous low rise siren bikini which doesn't have any elastic (uses self binding instead) and looks great under active wear while hugging my butt and staying in place. I wore a pair of these hipinis for two different 24 hour blocks just to give them a chance and have decided to return all of the unworn pairs I ordered. Please bring back the elastic free bikini. PLEASE!

Best undies yet

It's hard to get excited over a pair of undies, and I probably shouldn't get so excited. But I simply love these. I have pretty much replaced my undies drawer with performance undies, ranging from various Patagonia synthetic ones, to Icebreaker and Ibex merino ones. And I can honestly say these are simply the best. I have a bunch of the Icebreaker Nature bikinis - which I think they got rid off and replaced with these 'hipkinis'. The Nature bikinis are great, but they have quite a few unnecessary seams and ride up occasionally b/c they don't have any lycra (100% merino). IB added a bit of lycra to these hipkinis, got rid of some seams. The result is that they fit as good as the Patagonia undies, without the potential ill-effect of synthetics, and never ride up. I was at first skeptical - it seemed IB just replaced a perfectly good pair of undies with something new and charge you more. But after wearing these for a few days, the new design is worth the money and I'll probably be buying more.
