My favorite

Between these and the Smartwool Hiphuggers - http://www.backcountry.com/smartwool-microweight-hiphugger-underwear-womens I have gone back and purchased several pairs. I love them. I rinse them after hiking for the day and they're dry and like-new in the morning. The only thing that I don't like about these compared to the SmartWools is that there's a little bit of extra fabric in the back for me and I have an average (if not bigger) booty. Overall though, these are great!

    Like this underwear but....

I am 5'6", 130 lbs and usually wear M in clothes. The S in these fit. I also wear S in Patagonia underwear. I bought the Icebreaker underwear because I loved the Icebreaker retreat tank so much and decided to try the underwear. They are comfortable but feel a little loose/insecure compared to the Patagonia underwear I usually wear which is more stretchy and snug fitting- I use these for everyday wear, but don't know how they would do for exercising - ie would they stay in place...

      search is over

I've tried a LOT of brands of underwear, and these are finally absolutely right. I took two pair with me for four months on the Pacific Trail, they lasted like new and were so comfortable always- heat, wet, snow, the works. Wash and dry fast, in fact wearing them wet after swimming they dry really fast while you hike. And best of all, I can forget I have them on, they fit that well. I'm 135lbs. most of the time, and 5'6", size medium in these. Now I never wear any other kind.

        The BEST!

Yep, amazing... great fit, hold up well ( I don't put mine in the dryer) and very comfortable. They stay put and don't ride up or fall down. Best thing is they don't hold odor, so never stinky even after a trek. Fast drying, so easy to rinse when traveling. They may be expensive, but worth EVERY penny!

          Suprised

Not itchy at all even though it's at the most sensitive area. Perfect fit; not tight and not loose. Soft yet sturdy. Also the curved style is extremely flattering. I can't believe I spent thirty bucks and I'm going to spend another thirty on another pair. It's that good.
Update: I'm not sure why but a hole developed right in the middle in the front, where nothing rubs against it. Hopefully it's just one pair with this problem.

I'm wondering about size: I usually wear a L in icebreaker shirts, but my "low hip" is 40 in, which according to the size chart for these says a M. Anybody have suggestions about fit?
