Really nice and warm
I'm 5'10 150lbs and the medium fit perfect. This has moved up to my favorite shirt!

Absolutely love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, perfect fit. Shoulders, arm length, back length, wrist. I wear it for cycling and it is simply perfect for fall as either its only layer or a top layer.

Favorite cool morning shirt.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5'10" 140lb. I got a medium and it is just a little baggy; just like I wanted it.I could probably wear a small if I wanted a tighter fit. The shirt is very comfortable and very high quality. Just like all the other icebreaker clothes I have bought.

What a disappointment
I loved this shirt for the first week and then a button fell off, and then I washed it. To be clear all of my shirts are wool and I know the right way to wash them. I washed this shirt in cold water, on gentle cycle, hang dried with all my other merino T's and flannels and it got so wrinkled and scrunched up that no amount of steaming and stretching can bring it back to the right length. Meanwhile my other 100% Merino flannels from a different company required no work and still fit like a dream. I'm afraid this will be my last item from Icebreaker.

Quality, Warmth, and a Tailored Fit!
Knew from my other Icebreaker garments--neck warmers, base layers, and caps--that I would be getting an excellent quality wool product, but the item description of this Lodge wool shirt misses its best features: versatile lightweight wool fabric in a smart tailored fit. At 5'11" and 178 lbs., I took a risk with the Medium on this Final Sale item, but I could not be more pleased to have a shirt I can wear three seasons splitting cord wood or out to dinner with my wife and friends. So nice to have a functional work shirt with the tapered cut that does not cheat on broad shoulders and generous sleeve length.

Great wool flannel shirt
Very happy with my recent purchase especially with 40% off. I'm 176cm and 77 kg with reasonable wide shouders/chest for my height/weight. I normally take a medium but can sometimes take a small or large depending on brand etc. I think this is definitely on the end of the scale in terms of being a larger medium. I can wear it with multiple base layers and as an overshirt. Its definitely an athletic cut for me which is ok as I will mainly be using camping or bikepacking. If you want it to look a bit more stylish and slimmer cut I would size down if in between sizes. The blue/black is a great colour. Feels like it will wear well over time.

Handsome dress flannel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife said there is no such thing as a "dress flannel". As a dedicated flannel addict, I wanted to prove her wrong. This shirt did just that. It is a cozy, comfortable flannel that looks like a million bucks with a nice pair of jeans. Being that it's merino, it never smells and is perfect on a chilly morning. Now if I can just find a great pair of flannel pants......

Perfect fall outerlayer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fits well. Looks great untucked. Perfect with a light Icebreaker baselayer for being out and about in fall weather. Not as soft as much of Icebreaker's other stuff but that's not an issue for me. Don't generally do plaid but the earth tones tone it down. Love it!

Perfect everyday flannel
This arrived just as a snowy cold snap arrived and I have been wearing it constantly ever since, including sleeping. Yep, was camping at the weekend and piled into my sleeping bag with this on, got up in the morning and carried on. Wearing it in the office today without washing. Cozy and comfy across a very wide temperature range. I got the Charcoal color with some trepidation, as black in shirts is not my thing. But I wanted to avoid flannel plaid. To my joy, this fabric has a very smart micro pattern, much like a high quality drill cotton. From camping to the office it looks the part. Burly enough to be an overshirt, but still comfortable to tuck in as a regular shirt. They really have hit the sweet spot with this flannel. One minor issue is that where the seams meet at the armpit, they get a bit thick. This caused minor discomfort after a night sleeping in it. Not something that would be a problem in everyday wear. I was looking out for issues raised in other reviews. But I found no issue with sleeve length, not bothered by itching, and I love the pocket placement, which looks smart in this colorway.

New Western Hunting Flannel
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have been wanting a Merino wool hunting flannel that could be used during early, warmer weather hunts as a stand alone piece and for later, cold weather hunts as a durable outer piece. This hits all the wickets. Very lightweight which is exactly what I was looking for.
