Excellent when going from cold to hot (in my case, from cold outside weather under other Icebreaker pieces to overheated inside pubs and subways and buses and such), as it's light enough to layer beautifully but not too cool to make you feel like you want another layer. Packs down to nothing. Excellent travel piece.

This Icebreaker fits well and regulates temperature nicely.

Great as a base layer. I also wear it to the gym during winter months as its quite cool inside. The fit was really good too. It was fitted but not tight

Like my other Icebreaker pieces, this has quickly worked it's way into my regular work-out clothes rotation. The fit is not as tight as some of my other pieces (namely the Chakra 200 quarter zip), so the medium I have is perfect for layering over other shirts (I'm 5'6", 135lbs). This shirt looks fairly sheer out of the box, but is not too see thru once you put it on (although I would still recommend at least a tank under it). I have worn this trail running, cycling, and as a cover up after the gym. I love the strategically placed mesh panels, they make breathable wool even more functional! My only complaint is that I wish the hip pocket was zippered so that I didn't worry about losing my phone/gym card/gel. Overall, a winning piece that I would recommend.
