Hi Canuck- these are the lightest pants that Icebreaker makes. I think you will enjoy them for what you are doing. I have the capri style in the same weight and they breath great for aerobic activities.

I wear a 200 weight shirt when I work out at the gym. At first I thought it was going to be too warm, but I have never overheated wearing it. Merino just breathes so well. Hope this helps

Does anyone know how the fit on these pants compares to the Lilly pant from Icebreaker? Sizing through hips/thighs and length?

They will fit a little different than the Lily. They are a much lighter fabric and they have an athletic fit so they will run true to size. They are designed for activities- running, yoga, etc so they will fit on the slimmer side.

Icebreaker products tend to be quite fitted. I am also in between XS and small. I tried on a size small of the capri version of this pant and found they were just right.

I would go small. As it is wool, there will be a bit of shrinkage. And you don't want a yoga pant to be too tight.
