Nice shirt

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

My husband has a couple of these shirts. They have a nice fit suitable for work or play. I agree with some of the other posts about sweat marks - it is out of control on a hot, humid day!! It's not terrible, but not ideal and definitely worse than in some other polo shirts. Luckily, they wash very well!

Wick Away doesn't live here

  • Fit: True to size
  • Height: 6' 7"
    Weight: 245 lbs

I finally wore my new Icebreaker Quattro Polo Shirt. I was interested in how the wicking function would perform under high temperature conditions this summer. Admittedly, I sweat alot but needless to say, I am a bit disappointed with the outcome.

Wick Away doesn't live here

I can only repeat what Nicole said to Richard below. Have a look at Sphere Polo with Cool-Lite fabric. Great difference when it comes to wicking ability and drying is way faster than a regular 150 merino. I happen to have two Quattros but without pocket and the Spheres are much better. I find the heat managing to be beter than my Patagonia Capilene. Silkweight T-Shirts.

Sweatless anticipation

  • Fit: True to size

Perhaps it will be a great advantage wearing these Merino shirts thru the coming wet, hot, humid months of South Korean summer. Not sure what to expect regarding performance but the shirt makes me look a better man. XXL fits the body without being too loose in the waist like some other brands. 36 inch waist here.

Hi swi- You should check out Icebreaker new Cool-Lite fabric for the hotter humid climates. Look for the Sphere Series on Backcountry- Polos, T's and LS tops.

richard I've had better luck with dark colored merino for summer, as it hides sweat easier. I'd say give the Patagonia summer stuff a try - A/C and puckerwear shirts. They've worked well in the ROK and SE Asia for me. Also if you sweat like that, merino still can't beat a well designed poly shirt. For any running or hiking in hot weather gotta go with a poly blend shirt. Most quality ones now come with Drirelease, Silver or Cocona so they dont smell like they used to.

light material & comfortable.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
  • Fit: True to size

This shirt fits a little more slim than some, but it's still true to size. The material is lightweight which makes the shirt is quite comfortable to wear.

Attractive comfortable shirt

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times
  • Fit: True to size

Bought this for my husband. It is really lightweight, great fitting shirt. He looks great in it and has had more than one random female approach him to tell him how much they love his shirt! It washes well too.
