Nice coat. I wish it fit but the XXL left me with no room in the chest/shoulders to move comfortably or drive a car, and that was with just a T shirt. I'm 6'2" 225lbs with broad shoulders. Maybe a XXXL would be better. XXL was more like a tight 48 Long. Grab it when it gets restocked in a few days. The euro left side zipper would take some getting used to.

I've been drooling over this for awhile now, but I'm hesitant, since its both outrageously expensive for a casual jacket, and unreviewed. Anyone have a similar jacket, or older model, that can attest to its fantastic attributes?
I too had been drooling over it for quite a while, and finally got it on e-bay for $150 ;). It's amazingly comfortable to wear and especially the temp. regulating properties are excellent. My only quarrel is the cut and the sizing. I asked icebreaker and an internet store about which size someone with 6' of length and about 175lbs and a 40'' chest should go for. They both said I was between a large and a x-large. That was good for the ebay seller only had it in large. I am swimming in a large to the point I've had it sewn in 2'' on both sides. The sleeve length and the shoulders are ok, only thing here is, to me, the way the upper sleeve are attached to far down on the chest. I've liked the cut a little trimmer. I've made contact to this guy; www.andrewrlong.com/icebreaker-sport-apparel-definitive-long-term-review/ as he seemed very pleased with his boulder hood. He told me that his measurements are about the same as mine 6'1", 172 lbs and a 39" chest and when he bought it, he was close to 200 lbs and his is a Small!
I own the women's version and I absolutely love it! The fabric is incredible- stretchy for a good fit and it has a wind resistant layer so it keeps the cold out. It also works very well in light rain- not as a technical jacket but as a casual one. Say it rains on you during a date and you need to get from the car to the restaurant... Buy it. You will love it.
You will like it! and it you for some reason you dont like it or feel you didnt get your moneys worth then you can return it no questions asked and you are only out a few bucks for return shipping.
Using this jacket for two years comfortable to wear, maybe just a bit heavy I bought it for the city and today, despite having always with me, backpacks and bags the jacket is like new. keeps well until the temperature on the move ... ... if you stand still in the cold, you better have a nice extra padding
